A source is part of a claim
Verifiable information identifies its author, date, context and exact source. A figure without a time period or a headline without its article can create a misleading impression. Traceable original sources are especially useful for new proposals.
Comparing other surveys
When referring to another survey, identify its commissioner, research organisation, fieldwork dates, participant selection, sample size, exact wording and method. An online member survey cannot simply be compared with a representative population sample. The old site announced a collection of such references but did not contain completed records.
Finding political contacts
The earlier planned lists for Germany and Brussels were empty. People, offices and responsibilities change. Specific contact proposals should therefore use the current official directory of the relevant parliament or institution. The site does not present an outdated directory as current.
Historical source list from 6 April 2020
The earlier “Sources” article linked to the publications below. These references preserve the editorial context of the old website. They do not establish that earlier figures or assessments still apply; the external pages have not been re-evaluated as a current factual basis for this edition.
- Hospital nursing staff
- Lobbying in Brussels
- Lobbying and legislation
- Media criticism and a contemporary court dispute
